Deliberate Learning work with Teachers, Schools, Employers and the wider community to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

From Teacher CPD to STEM Ambassadors, no STEM challenge is too big or small!

Enthuse Funded Science Courses

Enthuse funded courses in partnership with STEM learning have been running in Northern Ireland since 2006. All courses follow an action research model of CPD. This involves time out of school for training and action planning, then a gap task back in school to try out some of the techniques, followed by a second training period to share practice with colleagues and reflection. In this way the training has maximum impact on teachers, pupils and colleagues back in school, and best of all these courses come with a generous Enthuse bursary to support attendance!

Deliberate Learning is the STEM Ambassador Hub in Northern Ireland

STEM Ambassadors are volunteers from a wide range of STEM related professional fields. Our STEM Ambassadors work with young people and schools to encourage interest in STEM and STEM careers.

Register to become a STEM Ambassador

Follow our 5 step process

Enthuse Partnership Programme

We work with groups of 4-8 schools and colleges to develop a bespoke two-year action plan. Partnerships receive up to £20,000 worth of support, which includes access to CPD, resources, teacher placements, STEM Ambassadors and enrichment activities. Funding becomes available at different times and in different subject areas. Sometimes schools are selected according to set criteria. If you would like to register your interest in becoming an ENTHUSE Partnership in the future, please complete the short expression of interest form and then we can contact you once the opportunity arises.

The Nuffield Placement Programme

Deliberate Learning is delighted to be the Nuffield co-ordinator for Northern Ireland.
